United Considers Cheaper Alternatives to Baleba…
Manchester United is exploring more wallet-friendly options if bringing Carlos Baleba on board proves as costly as a yacht made of gold bricks. The Red Devils have their eye on the Brighton star, but United’s piggy bank looks closer to £70m while Brighton would love a cool £100m for their midfield maestro. With Man City also peeking curiously at Baleba, United might be better off forming an alliance with their calculators and consider cheaper players like the highly-rated Monaco youngster, who, unlike Baleba, comes at the bargain price of a mere two football stadium hotdog budgets.
Among the budget-conscious options are the likes of Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough, who has mastered ball retention like he’s playing keep-away with a gang of mischievous squirrels. Not to mention Agoume of Sevilla, who stands tall and aggressive like a giraffe with a grudge. Wharton could also be an option, but with his contract locked up tighter than Fort Knox until 2029, a move seems as likely as aliens landing to help out in midfield.
