City watch as young Argentine waits for his time
Bayer Leverkusen boss Kasper Hjulmand praised Claudio Echeverri’s potential but hasn’t ruled out a January return to Manchester City. The 19-year-old midfielder, still short on minutes despite wearing No.9, saw his team win 2–0 on Tuesday while he stayed unused.
At this rate, Echeverri’s bench will have more appearances than he does — but Hjulmand insists his moment will come, and City are keeping tabs just in case it needs to come sooner.
