Three young stars from Manchester City’s academy are hitting the big leagues as part of a dreamy dozen getting professional contracts. It’s rumored these youngsters play so well that the grass even shuffles itself into neat rows when they’re on it! As the Under-18s and Under-21s gear up for their games on August 16 and 18, Oliver Tevenan, Leke Drake, and friends are gearing up for a wild season under the watchful eyes of academy director Thomas Krucken.
Oliver Whatmuff is already on a loan adventure to Rochdale, hoping to be so good between the posts that even the goalposts ask for a selfie! Meanwhile, Kaden Braithwaite, Ryan McAidoo, and Stephen Mfuni are looking forward to regular action with the Under-21 squad. Fresh off two final losses, the Under-18s, managed by Oli Reiss in his second year, are set to obliterate records like they’re swatting flies.
